Brian Gaudet [Secretary]

I have attended Central Heights Church for 18 years and am presently serving on the Elder Council as Secretary. I am also captain of one of CHC’s usher teams. 

My loves are my God and my family. My wife, Laura, and I have three children: Chris, Scott and Ashley. 

I was born and raised in a Christian home in Prince Edward Island and moved to British Columbia after graduation from university in Ontario in 1981. I am presently a business consultant.

I enjoy racquetball, golf, reading newspapers – and most Italian food!

My dreams for Central Heights Church are for a growing church family at peace with each other.

My gifts include leadership and a common-sense analytical approach to dealing with opportunities and problems

My motto is, “Work smart, work hard, and pray while doing both.”

A favourite Bible passage is James 3:1-11, about taming the tongue

–”We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check…With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.”
