Global Ministries

The Global Ministries program at CHC is committed to making healthy growing followers of Jesus Christ at home and around the world. Our global workers include a variety of people who have adjusted their lives and lifestyles to what God has called them to do.

Strategically and logistically, we carry out our global program in partnership with a variety of global ministry agencies such as Mennonite Brethren Mission and Service International, Arab World Ministries, SEND International, The Evangelical Alliance Mission, Mission Aviation Fellowship, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Pioneers, World Impact, Christian Outreach International and Campus Crusade for Christ, all of which give specific direction and maintain administrative responsibility for the day-to-day dynamics of the work our representatives do.

Our global involvement quite often is driven by the vision and passion that God generates in the local church family as we look to what he is doing around the world and commit to joining him there. More than seventy per cent of our current missionaries are, or have been members of Central Heights Church or are family members of those who attend. As a sending church, we provide the spiritual authority and protection of the body of Christ for our missionaries and pledge to support them financially and with prayer.

The global ministries program at CHC does not stand on its own. It is woven throughout the fabric of who we are at every level of life and activity in the church and is an expression of our love for Jesus Christ, each other and people around the world.
