Velocity is our weekly program for high school students at Central Heights.  Come and be with students from across Abbotsford for a diverse blend of activities, meaningful experiences, and a whole bunch of fun. 

At Velocity we want to:

• Create a comfortable place for students to connect
• Encourage students to grow in their relationship with God through worship
• Communicate God’s truth in a relevant way
• Do some fun and crazy stuff that generate good memories

• Develop a youth staff team who help students grow spiritually
• Have students look beyond themselves and see the needs of those around them and respond with the heart of Jesus

Velocity Night on Thursdays (7-9 pm)

If you’re looking for us… you’ll find us in one of two places on any given Thursday night…

@ Fusion – Our youth centre that is located in Central Heights Church (1661 McCallum Rd.) on the north side of the building.  Once you make the climb up the stairs and walk through the doors there is plenty for you do… pool, ping pong, foosball, x-box and wii, snack bar complete with slurpees, a big screen with satellite to watch the Canucks, and lots of padded seating to talk with friends.

@ Roots Groups – RG’s are a small group of high school students and a couple of youth sponsors that get together on the 3rd Thursday of the month (Oct-May).  If you are tired of superficial relationships and want to make some friendships that’ll last, we encourage you to check out an RG. They happen throughout Abbotsford and you can get more info on our Velocity nights. There’s always a place for you in an RG.

Sundays (9:40-10:30 am)

@ Fuel Up – Sleeping in on Sundays is so overrated!  Looking for a better way to spend your Sunday morning?  Come to Fuel Up!  What's Fuel Up?! Fuel Up is encouragement for your life.  It's a chance for you to dive into your Bible on a weekly basis.  We explore Scripture through movie clips, skits, games, and anything else unique that we can think of!  Everyone is welcome!  Just bring your Bible and imagination!  We meet Sunday mornings in Fusion.
