Small Groups

Have you ever been in a big crowd of people and yet at the same time felt alone?  I think we've all felt that way at one time or another; being meaningfully connected in relationships is one of the things that we all long for—real friendships, people who care, who are encouraging, who will pray for us, and cheer us on! Yet... we don't always experience that!

God wired us for relationships—deep community relationships. In fact Jesus prayed in John 17 verse 22... "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one."

Jesus' prayer for his followers is that they would know and experience the close community and oneness in relationship that he experiences with his Father... that's amazing! That's incredible community, and Jesus wants that for his people!

Community like that rarely happens - it must be intentional. That's why at Central Heights Small Groups are vitally important, as we intentionally connect people in groups of 8-12 people that meet on a regular basis—to spend time together, get into God's word, pray for each other, and Do Life Together!   Are you experiencing that kind of community? If not, maybe it's time that you joined a small group!
