Prayer Ministry
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We are committed to becoming a "pray first church". Our first response is to commit every situation to God. We also want to learn to be a "listening church", people committed to hearing from God, not simply dumping our shopping lists on him. As we grow in our communication with God, we anticipate seeing him work dramatically, transforming our lives and the lives of those we pray for.

Prayer Meetings
Elder Prayer
Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. James 5:13-15
If you have a specific need that you would like the Elders to pray with you about, contact Lesley at the church office (lesley@centralheightschurch.com or 604.852.1001). She will contact you and arrange a time for you to meet with them.
Children's Ministry Prayer - Monday mornings 9:30am - 10:30am
Every Monday morning, we meet in room #254 to pray for children's ministry needs as well as personal requests. Everyone is welcome to join in - this is not just for those involved in children's ministry. Babysitting is provided.

Staff Prayer - Tuesday mornings
The staff meet together every Tuesday to pray for requests that have come in throughout the previous week, for each other and the ministry of the church. If you have specific items you would like prayed for, contact the office at 604.852.1001
Early Risers - Wednesdays at 7:30am (NOTE new time!)
Meets in the Activity Room (use the west side doors labelled W4). Join us as we pray for missionaries, church community and special requests. Everyone welcome!
