Worship Arts Ministry
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:1-3

Talking about Worship...
There are so many great books about worship, and one that I am currently reading has both encouraged me and challenged me in the who, what, why and when of worship. So I wanted to share with you a portion of Anne Ortlund's "Up With Worship", how to quit playing church.
"So you don't care for the worship in your church? Well, it isn't the 'worship' you're to worship; it isn't the minister or the music - it's God. Is He in your heart? Then apart from anything that's happening up front, out back, around you, anywhere- you can have your own private breakthrough into glory!
Oh my friend, He waits to be all in all to you. He is sufficient. You and He in a worship service together? That's enough.
Think of all the places in the world where Christians can't meet in His name at all. Be humble, be grateful, be sweetened in your soul. A critical spirit won't bring the glory.
Does that mean you are to be tolerant and satisfied with the present state of things? No, no! Behind the scenes, agonize in prayer for that beloved church of yours. Find another heart that beats with yours for revival (and who knows how to love and not criticize), and pray and don't quit.
But in church? Don't wait for 'someday', and miss Him. You're there; He's there! Hooray! Three cheers for God! Sing! Pray! Celebrated! Let your face reflect His presence!
Your personal worship doesn't depend on anybody else's behavior. "
Some great thoughts to be reminded of. I hope this gets you excited about worship! I can't wait till Sunday, in the meantime, take a listen to Chris Tomlin's Sing, Sing, Sing and get excited about Jesus.
Times...
3 services / 2 different styles
- 8:30am - Our more traditional service, with a strong emphasis on time tested hymns, scripture reading and solid Bible teaching.
- 9:45am & 11:00am - A more "modern" approach, a casual atmosphere, a greater degree of variety & creativity while still focusing on strong Bible teaching and scriptural content. Musically, we have a full worship band to add to the celebration.
Leadership...

Zena DeFehr is our Interm Director for Worship Arts. She is working with Worship leaders Chris Boschman, James Groening and Marjorie Friesen and their teams of gifted musicians. A really exciting development is the "youth movement" we are seeing on some of our teams, as some of our talented students and young adults are stepping up.
Why not check us out on Sunday morning.
And when you come, come prepared to meet with Jesus.
