Our Dreams
God's insights to us for Central Heights, Abbotsford and
beyond
-
We dream of a church with 1500 committed members
willing to sign the maturity covenant, having a daily
time with God, giving a regular offering to God, and participating
in a weekly care group for spiritual growth and personal
encouragement.
-
We dream of reaching into our community, daily
bringing people in, introducing them to our Lord Jesus
Christ, discipling them and bringing them into the body
of the church, so that they may be fully devoted followers
of Jesus Christ.
-
We dream of being a praying church, meeting Wednesday
nights for prayer meetings with at least 500 people in
attendance.
-
We dream of a network of 100 care groups for our
members and attenders providing support, encouragement
and accountability as they seek to grow in Christlikeness.
These groups will be led by trained Lay Pastors and leaders
who lovingly lead, feed, and care for those in their care
group.

We dream of Life Development Classes for our members
offering balanced programming covering equipping classes,
topical seminars, Deeper Life Festivals and Bible studies
for the purpose of providing support, building knowledge,
vision, conviction, practical skills and character, which
will equip and train our people.

We dream of training up 100 lay teachers who are
equipped with vision, character, knowledge and expertise
to feed our flock. We dream of a teacher-training program
that produces experts in individual Bible books, doctrine,
apologetics and Christian growth.

We dream of an age-appropriate Life Development
Process that leads our children and youth to love Jesus
and His church, grow spiritually, discover their shape
for ministry, and understand their life mission in the
world.

We dream of being a sent church, reaching out
evangelistically world wide. We dream of training, developing
and sending our own missionaries, pastors and leaders
who will go all over the world proclaiming the gospel
of Jesus Christ. We dream of sending out 10 short-term
mission teams a year, for the purpose of a cross-cultural
experience and developing a hunger for missions.

We dream of developing a worship ministry that
encompasses music, vocals, instruments and drama for the
express purpose of developing musicians and leading people
into the presence of God, worshipping and honouring and
blessing Him!
