Meet and Greet
Welcome. You have made it this far. For some, coming to church is easy. Maybe it's an old habit that you once had. Maybe you have decided to introduce your kids to the Christian life. Maybe you just want to wander around and find something that connects with you.
Our invitation to you is simply... Come as you are.
Come as you are and experience the freedom to discover God's spiritual journey for your life. It's an invitation to see where God is guiding you and how we can help you.
That's why we would like to connect with you personally. After the service come to a Meet and Greet with our Pastor and various hospitality hosts. We meet in our Coffee Centre next to the Worship Center.
We have a number of things we would like to give you.
To begin we would like to hand you our information package which describes all the programs that happen at our church.
Next we would like to introduce you to our Come As You Are booklet. It introduces 5 key steps that we would like to be in conversation about in your faith journey. They are:
- Believe in Jesus
The Christian faith begins with the person of Jesus Christ; what he said and what he did. It is an invitation to deny ourselves, take up our crosses and follow Jesus. - Connect at CHC
The is the best place to start. You will be introduced to the Christian Church in general, to what Central Heights is all about, and to all the different ways you can connect at Central Heights. At the end you will have an opportunity to choose your next step. - Join a Small Group
Each person is at a different place in their spiritual journey. We have different classes and also small groups to help you grow and connect in the next step of your spiritual journey. We will help you find the one that's best for you. - Serve in the Community
God designed each one of us uniquely, and wants us to serve in areas of how He designed us. When you serve others, using the gifts that God has given you, everyone benefits and grows stronger. Those outside the church are impacted as well as we reach out. - Share your Faith
Believing in Jesus is good news! That is why we want to share it. Sometimes we get you to share it by showing God's loves in practical ways, and there are times when we have opportunity to explain our faith to those seeking more of God.
Discovering more about God is an amazing adventure and we would like to be a part of it. However, your journey really belongs to you and God. Your interest in spiritual matters has been put there by God and we are simply encouraging you to keep seeking and searching.
