RESEARCH PHASE ASSIGNMENT OF DUTIES
Elders/staff/pastors - What does a 2010 church facility look like? Function and use - staff to speak to Churches that have been built lately such as Olivet, Summit Pacific Church, Mission Highway Christian Reformed Church.
Doug and Steve - interact with city regarding remediation issues.
Dan - envelope cost finalization (if you feel you have done everything you think needs doing as far as gathering numbers and estimates, then no further work is required). Considering the information available to us now, is any further research required?
Milton / pastors / staff - Are we convinced that 45000 square feet is enough new space
Tim / Milton - Cost of operating existing facility vs. operation cost of new 45000 square foot facility
Milton / Dan / Len - Investigate a staged rebuild ie. rebuild first a new worship centre (looking at an existing site plan, with a view to take down the minimum of the 85 section and what then would be the sequence of events as we still need to function and what does this mean as far as city codes.)
Len / Milton - New building cost, (Len conduct more discussion with Titan if he deems it necessary)
Bill - A more complete review of options of use of surplus land and potential revenue generation
Bill - Where best to rebuild on existing site
Brian - (Will consult with Bill upon his return) Regarding the Hawthorne sites, what are the north lots work zoned as is versus a rezoning which CHC could do. Determine the two different values, how long this would take? What is the opportunity cost of these monies. How much more could we expect to receive in this scenario.
Brad / Tim - CHC Borrowing capacity, what are some rules of thumb?
Brad - Fundraising capabilities and options
Steve To finalize insurance options
Mark and Brian -

2. Lay out the "Decision Making Path"
