An Announcement to the Congregation from the Elders

On the evening of Monday November 30^th the Capital Projects Committee and the Elders will be briefing the Congregation on some recent encouraging developments between the City of Abbotsford and Central Heights Church. Not all details are finalized at the time of this writing but we should have full information available by the 30^th at which time it will be our pleasure to share with the congregation what has transpired. The elders will be bringing a recommendation that will need a formal vote by the congregation.

Extraordinary Congregational Meeting Called

Date & Time:  Monday, November 30, 2009 — 7:00pm

Location:  The Central Heights Church Gymnasium

Agenda: 

1. A formal update from the Capital Projects Committee with regards to work completed to date on our building and an assessment of repair options facing us as a church.
2. A Question and Answer time with CPC and the Elders
3. A decision to be made about the direction we will take as a church with regards to our building. This decision will involve some additional finances.

Results of Meeting

Motion presented: "To authorize Central Heights Church to acquire a loan to a maximum of $200,000 for the purpose of regaining occupancy of our 1985 Worship Centre"

This motion was passed with a 97% affirmation.
