These Core Values define Central Heights Church. This is what we stand for; this is what we are all about; this is who we are.
Knowing God - We value an intimate, reconciled relationship with our Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, who loves us unconditionally and replaces our guilt and shame with joy and peace. (John 1:12; John 17:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Colossians 1:13-14; 1 John 1:9)
Sound Preaching and Teaching - We value the practical preaching and teaching of the Word of God as the guiding, transformational truth for our spiritual journey and the foundation for everything we do. Intentional Prayer - We value prayer and its foundation to all ministry and spiritual growth. We believe prayer expresses our dependence on God, our willingness to hear His voice and our need to know His will and life direction. Surrendered Obedience - We value surrendered obedience to our Lord and Savior surrendering our independence, personal preferences and convenience for the advancement of His Kingdom through the empowering work of the Holy Spirit. This means we recognize gift-based ministry and leadership styles that encourage, facilitate and empower both individuals and teams.
